Welcome to The History of Swedish Trade Council

In March 1972, the Swedish government presented a proposal to form a council, together with Swedish business, to "plan, coordinate and implement measures to promote Swedish exports". Since then, the Swedish Trade Council has helped Swedish companies identify, understand, export to and establish themselves in new markets.
